Karlo Villalpando

Karlo Villalpando is an executive security and enterprise risk advisor with over 20 years of experience operating at the intersection of transnational organized crime, supply chain security, cross-border operations, and Enterprise Risk & Intelligence.

Karlo began his career in Mexican Customs (2009–2019), specializing in interdiction and intelligence operations targeting transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) across ports of entry and protecting legitimate international supply chains. During his federal service, he collaborated operationally with federal law enforcement and military agencies including:

  • U.S. Customs and Border Protection
  • U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
  • Drug Enforcement Administration
  • Department of Homeland Security
  • SEDENA- Mexican ARMY
  • SEMAR- Mexican NAVY
  • Guardia Nacional- Federal Police

He later transitioned into corporate leadership, most recently directing global security, intelligence, crisis management, and enterprise resilience programs for a multinational manufacturing organization with approximately 26,000 employees, supporting and enabling business continuity, expansion and supply chain security across the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.

Karlo is a frequent Subject Matter Expert participant in forums such as OSAC (Oversees Security Advisory Council – US Department of State) a member of DSAC (Domestic Security Alliance Council – US DOJ) and other associations.

His career in Law Enforcement with binational participation has allowed the development of a strong international network.
